Our Ultimate Plant Protection Kit will help achieve the high soil temperatures melons depend on for best performance! The 1-3 ft. x 50 ft. roll of black plastic mulch and 1-6 ft. x 50 ft. piece of our Point-Bonded 0.5 oz. Row Cover material are used in tandem for best results. Place the desired length of the black plastic mulch on the soil, then plant through slits cut into the plastic. Place the Row Cover material over the plants, weighting it at the edges with soil, bricks, etc. The row cover provides a warmer microenvironment during cooler weather and at night. Remove the row cover when the weather becomes warmer. An excellent product!
