Nourish potted plants and hanging baskets with these easy-to-use fertilizer spikes. Spikes supply nutrients directly to the plant's root zone, and slow-release formula feeds for 8 weeks between applications. Fertilizer promotes lush, healthy growth in ornamental plants like petunias, geraniums, impatiens, begonias, vincas, marigolds, pansies, and mums. To use, simply insert spikes under the soil, at least 3" away from plant's roots, and water immediately. Fertilizer has 8-9-12 guaranteed N-P-K analysis, and recommended application rates start at 1 spike for an 8" pot. In flower beds, use 2 spikes per square foot. 18 spikes per package.
