Install these protectors over your plants as early as March or April in the Northeast/Midwest (depending upon weather and field conditions), and at other times of the year in different areas of the country. They have warded off damaging cold temperatures as low as 10°F., in tests. Heat is absorbed into the water-filled chambers during the day, and is released to the inside section as the outside temperature is reduced. During extremely cold periods (32°F. and below), push the top section of each protector together to form a smaller opening, to retain additional heat. May be re-used year after year.

Fill each chamber by opening it with your fingers, then placing the hose end within the chambers, moving around the teepee as you go. Green color.
