75 Days. The Conestoga tomato is a hybrid variety derived from the old French Heirloom variety Marmande. Marmande is known for its excellent eating quality and Conestoga is no exception. The fruit have a brilliant red color, a flat globe shape and distinctive ribbing on their shoulders. The fruit have a great eating quality, good firmness and will be large to extra-large in size, if pruned properly. This fine specialty tomato is suitable for open field and high tunnel production. The vigorous, indeterminate plants need to be staked and pruned for optimal results.
