Floating polyester row covers are heavy duty, long-lasting point-bonded type. Dupont AG06 is constructed of “point-bonded” fibers, securely heat-sealed together at many points throughout the fabric, and shows advantages:
- AG06 is softer and less abrasive against plant material
- AG06 UV resistance is improved to be longer lasting
- AG06 is much stronger in both tensile and tear tests
- AG06 heat retention is better, so the microenvironment will be warmer

Dupont AG06 row covers are 9 mil thick and transmit approx. 68% of available light. Nighttime temps under this row cover may be 3-4°F. greater than the outdoor temperature, and daytime temperatures may be up to 10°F. greater.
