NEW Exclusive 51 Strip Grafted Hybrid Tomatoes
After many request Harris Seeds is very pleased to offer you 3 varieties of grafted hybrid tomatoes, perfect for both early high tunnel production and conventional field production. The three grafted hybrid tomatoes available below are grafted onto Maxifort rootstock, resulting in improved soil-borne disease resistance and yield beyond what their hybrid genetics already offer.
Disease resistance from soil borne diseases is particularly important for tomatoes grown in high tunnels, where soil borne diseases may build up over time. Generally heirloom plants, and now three of our favorite hybrids are grafted on to highly disease resistant root stock, providing resistance to soil borne diseases. Grafted tomato plants more efficiently take up both food and water which means higher yields and better fruit quality, with less inputs, translating to increased profit for the grower.
