Varieties for shipping: All varieties are capable of being used for shipping. Winter squash will store and ship the best due to its hard rind

Organic: We have chosen to offer our newer hybrids that have good disease packages as untreated seed. Organic seed is available for a couple of our winter squash varieties.

All summer squash varieties have about the same shelf life. Winter squash has a much better shelf life due to the fact that it has a hard rind and firm flesh.
