Wide Mouth Tapetool

SKU: 40671-00-00

The quick, easy way to tie up tomatoes and bundle produce! Trellising tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, and other crops makes them easier to harvest and helps to prevent soil-borne diseases from affecting the fruit. However, tying vines by hand is so time-consuming that it can become impractical for large plots. Enter the Wide Mouth Tapetool! This well-made tool dispenses loops of durable tape with a simple squeeze of the hand trigger, allowing growers to tie up crops efficiently.

One squeeze of the handle stretches the tape across the mouth of the tool, ready to wrap around the plant stem and support stake. A second squeeze staples a loop of tape firmly in place and cuts it off neatly. Featuring a larger mouth than competitive models, this Tapetool accommodates 50% more vegetation, making it perfect for woody and multi-stemmed vines, as well as tomatoes and vining vegetables. It's also handy for tying bunches of cut flowers, asparagus, carrots, beets, and other root crops.

The Wide Mouth Tapetool is designed for easy tape and staple loading, and tape tension can be adjusted for different plant types. Pre-crimped staples and adjustable mouth width help to minimize hand fatigue. Please purchase tape rolls and staples separately.

Harris Seeds began operation in 1879 from the efforts of Joseph Harris, who was successful in selecting only the highest quality vegetables and grains. The company gained popularity because of his basic business philosophy: "Offer customers a quality product at a fair price and they will return." READ MORE
