The plants are indeterminate and continue to set fruit up the plants, for an extended harvest. Chesapeake's fruit are blocky, four-lobed and have fruit qualities typically found with other greenhouse production varieties. They have a rapid and uniform color change from green to bright red and smooth, thick walls.
