We thank you, our customers, for making our Powdery Mildew Protected pumpkin varieties the most widely-grown pumpkins in the U.S. The majority of these pumpkin varieties have been developed by plant breeder Dr. Ted Superak, of the Harris Moran Seed Co. All of these varieties where developed using conventional breeding techniques, and all offer intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. Growers have come to trust these pumpkin varieties to provide excellent yields, top quality fruit, and profit at both retail and wholesale markets. Harris Seeds now offers 25 pumpkin varieties with intermediate resistance to powdery mildew, 16 of which are from Dr. Superak’s breeding program. These pumpkins range in size from 3 lbs. to 60 lbs. plus, and we encourage you to add them to your program.
