Swiss Chard Seeds

Swiss chard is another nutritious “green” vegetable and is highly regarded for its vitamin content. It is valued for the rich, green leaves it produces. Although Swiss chard is a close relative of the beet family, it does not produce roots as beets do. It was first cultivated in the Mediterranean region, and remains very popular there.

Average Seed Count: 125/Pkt.; 1,900/Oz.

  OUR COMPANY

The Harris Seeds company began its catalog operation in 1879. It evolved from the efforts of Joseph Harris who became extremely successful in the selection of superior strains of vegetables and grains. The company became wildly popular because of his basic business philosophy - "Offer my customers a quality product at a fair price and they will return."
