Hibiscus is also known as Rose Mallow, or Swamp Mallow. It is a wonderful hardy perennial that produces gorgeous, large and showy disc-shaped flowers. The plant habit is bushy enough to give a shrub-like appearance, and makes a wonderful specimen plant in the perennial garden. They can also be effectively used down walkways or driveways as a perennial hedge. Hibiscus is a mid to late summer bloomer.
