This durable, hardy perennial (also known as Bee Balm or Bergamot) is an outstanding garden performer and interesting cut flower. Tall 2-4 ft. stems produce lovely feathery blooms in whorls that are set in leaf axils. Monarda is known to attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, a common theme with today’s home gardeners. This is an excellent perennial for both perennial gardens and formal borders.
