This perennial charmer (also known as Mullien) is known for its tall, stately plant habit with elegant spikes in colors ranging from pink to purple to white or yellow. Verbascum is known as an old-fashioned perennial and is often used in cottage gardens. Some varieties are also well suited as a cut flower. Established plants will bloom in the spring, and if cut, may send out a second flush in late summer/early fall.
