Jiffy Peat Pellets
Jiffy Pellets provide a natural, peat-based medium for easy handling of vegetable and flower field transplants. The biodegradable net retains its strength through the critical seeding and growing-on stages, and after field transplanting, a starch-based material in the net helps to break it down. This allows the roots to pass easily into the surrounding soil. The pre-dibbled pellets expand in minutes to their final size when watered. Pellet Sheets are flexible plastic handling sheets (additional tray needed for support) preloaded with Jiffy pellets designed to fit into standard 1020 trays.
