Sweet Corn Seminar

Learn about sweet corn through our Sweet Corn Seminar, a 50 minute audio and visual presentation!

Sweet corn is a staple of grocery chains, farmers’ markets and roadside stands across America. It is grown in every state of the union and growers must sort through hundreds of choices to find varieties to fit their geographic area and marketplace. The Harris Seeds Sweet Corn Seminar walks you through all aspects of sweet corn production, and provides recommendations for varieties that are grower favorites. If you are not sure about what varieties to grow, then Mark Willis, the Harris Seeds Vegetable Seed Product Manager, will make some top notch recommendations. This seminar also explains the differences between sweet corn classes, which can be very confusing to the grower.

The Harris Seeds company began catalog operation in 1879. It evolved from the efforts of Joseph Harris who was extremely successful in the selection of superior strains of vegetables and grains. The company became wildly popular because of his basic business philosophy - "Offer my customers a quality product at a fair price and they will return."
