Kristine’s refined, tapered 8-1/2" bicolor ears have a fine eating quality and excellent sweetness. Sturdy and clean 6-1/4' plants hold the ear at 20" and have intermediate resistance to NCLB, common rust and Stewart’s bacterial wilt. The ears have strong tip fill, 16-18 rows of kernels and are covered with a deep green husk and long attractive flags. This variety has shown excellent yield potential.

Q: Usually order Kristine- what would be comparable? I live in Connecticut
A: Hello Elaine, Thank you for contacting us. If you are looking for a substitute for Sweet Corn Kristine, you might look at Sweet Corn Progression. This is a 78 day BC with high yield, a similar row count, and similar sized ears. Its performs well in a variety of environments and is a popular variety amongst our customers.
