Northland blueberries have been hybridized to adapt to the very northern climates of our country. This shorter Highbush blueberry has flexible branches which do not break under heavy snow loads and adapt well in the sub-zero climate. Fruit is borne on long and loose clusters, with a moderately firm quality and a nice wild berry flavor. A low stature and spreading growth habit makes it an attractive landscape plant. Northern Highbush, 4 to 7', spreading, upright habit. Medium sweet tasting blueberries. Fruits early-mid season. Hardiness zones 3-7.
