Jersey blueberry is an all-time favorite with a distinctly sweet flavor. This late-season blueberry variety is easy to grow, high-yielding, and one of the oldest and most widely grown Highbush varieties. And with its famous cold hardiness, you will be harvesting for years. The blueberries are dark blue, medium-sized, and very sweet. Because the plants are vigorous in most any soil, it is widely planted by commercial growers. Its berries ripen after Blue Ray and are not as big, but many think the taste is sweeter. The tall well-shaped bushes also have an excellent ornamental value. Northern Highbush, 6-8', upright habit. Medium lush, sweet tasting fruit. Fruits late season. Hardiness zones 4-8.
