Bluecrop is the standard of excellence and a leading commercial blueberry variety that is popular among home gardeners and is perhaps the most widely planted variety in the U.S. Yield is high and consistent, ranging from 10 to 20 lbs. per plant at maturity. Fruit is light blue, large (65 berries per cup), firm, and crack resistant. Clusters of delicate white bell flowers in the spring are followed by juicy berries in late July and onwards. Bluecrop blueberry plants are suitable for both gardens and containers, is fast-growing, has dense foliage, and good drought resistance. Northern Highbush, 4 to 6', open, upright habit. Large classic, sweet tasting fruit. Fruits mid-season blueberries. Hardiness zones 4 to 7.
