Their elegant blooms are often used as cut flowers, but Callas make wonderful container plants too! Callas grow well in full sun or part shade. In hot climates provide some shade; if grown indoors, provide very bright light. In the garden, plant 3" deep, 1' apart, placing bulbs with growing points up. Keep soil moist but not soggy! Plant 3-4 bulbs in a 10-12" container; they are lovely mixed with other annuals, especially low trailing forms. For longest vase life, place fresh cut blooms in a vase with just 1⁄2" of water, add plant food, and change water every 2-3 days.
