This is a rust resistant conversion of XTH2170 that has resistance to the new strains of rust (Rp1-GFJ). XTH2472 XR sweet corn is a strong grower and good yielder like XTH2170. Its 8 to 8-1/2" ears are set at 17" on sturdy and clean 5-1/2' plants. The ears are easy to pick, have a dark green husk package that covers the ear well over the tip, and long dark green flag leaves. XTH2472 XR's ears fill well to the tip with 14-16 rows of yellow and white kernels. Isolation required.
