Blueray is the leading variety planted for the U-pick blueberry markets. It produces tight clusters of large, medium blue fruit, some up to 1" in diameter. The blueberry's soft, firm skin resists cracking, and has sweetness with a desirable hint of acidity. Blueray blueberry plant is fast-growing and provides bright red wood color in the winter. Northern Highbush, 4 to 6', open, upright habit. Very large classic-tasting fruit. Fruits mid-season. Hardiness zones 4 to 7.
