Arapaho is the earliest maturing thornless blackberry in existence. It ripens 2 weeks earlier than many other varieties, and bears large juicy berries with excellent flavor for over a month starting in mid-July. An important characteristic is Arapaho's small seed size. It is very productive and resistant to both double blossom and rust. It also produces sucker plants which allow it to quickly establish a solid hedge row. Arapaho blackberry plants are very winter hardy and provide a long harvest season. Erect and self-supporting. Thornless. Hardiness zones 5-7.
