Agapanthus are typically grown in warmer zones, but Walters Gardens, Inc. has introduced two vigorous varieties that are hardy to zone 6! These varieties have overwintered in Michigan's heavy snow winters for the past 6 years. They're out of this world with globular clusters that are produced on tall stems over large, rounded clumps of foliage. Thanks to rebloom, this is one of the last to stay in flower; mid-September in Michigan with 4" clusters of dark blue flowers.
