Grape Canadice Red

Grape Canadice Red

Item #
Canadice is a grape that does it all--from snacks and salads to jelly, juice, and wine. This early ripening American grape is known to bear great crops even after hard winters. It has a sweet flavor with a unique hint of spiciness. Yields medium-sized, firm, compact red grape clusters that keep well on the vine. Canadice is a slip-skin, but its skin is tender and edible. More winter hardy than most seedless grapes. Space 8 to 15' apart. Self-pollinating. Seedless. Ripens in mid-August, and can be picked through September. Hardiness zones 4-8.
