September red raspberry is a medium-sized, tart tasting berry that is sure to excite the taste buds for breakfast. It is one of the most popular commercial cultivars for fresh berry markets, and is often planted at "pick your own" operations along with Fall Gold and a black raspberry variety to offer a broad selection of colors. It is very cold tolerant. Height varies. Red. Ever bearing. Bears light crop in June and heavy crop in September. Hardiness zones 4-7.
