Chesapeake is an outstanding bell pepper that performs well in high tunnels or greenhouses. The plants are indeterminate and continuously set fruit up the stem, for an extended harvest. Chesapeake's fruit are blocky and four-lobed, with smooth, thick walls and a rapid and uniform color change from green to bright red. Yields a high number of marketable fruit per plant as compared to other typical greenhouse varieties.
