Lakemont is an American white table grape, part of the "Three Sisters" group, consisting of Himrod, Lakemont, and Interlaken. All are named after cities in the Finger Lakes region of North America. Lakemont grapes ripen later than the other two "sisters", but it is sweeter with bigger fruit. Some nurseries claim that Lakemont Seedless grapes are the most productive. These grapes are non-slip-skin, meaning the flesh tends to attach to the skin, and are delicious eaten fresh -they have a very honey taste. Space 8-15' apart. Self-pollinating. Seedless grapes. Early to mid- season harvest: late August. Hardiness zones 5-8.
