Autumn Britten is one of the most productive ever bearing raspberries! It is early-bearing, at least 2-3 weeks earlier than Heritage, with 50% of its total crop produced during the first 3 weeks of harvest. Autumn Britten raspberry bushes produces large, sweet, firm, juicy, farmers market quality berries. It is great for fresh eating, pies, jams, wine/juice, specialty desserts, and freezing or shipping. Canes are upright and vigorous. Although the canes are sturdy, this high yielding variety will bow under the weight of the berries and should have a low trellis. Disease resistant.
