Crimson Night raspberry plants feature dark red-purple canes and bountiful red berries. The medium-large sized fruit is conical in shape with a shiny deep-red appearance. Canes will grow vigorously, but have a more compact growth habit in colder, northern gardens. Crimson Night is suitable for container gardening. Disease-resistant to phytophthora root rot and leaf issues. Cold-hardy. Self-pollinating. A licensed variety of Cornell University. Height 5-8'. Deep Red berry. Ripens late June (floricanes) and more heavily in August (primocanes). Ever bearing. Hardiness zones 5-8.
