Ptilotus Joey

Native to central Australia, Joey is not only attractive, it also exhibits both heat and drought tolerance. Large, 3 to 4" bottlebrush spikes start out a glistening silver color, then gradually darken to neon pink near the tips. The feathery spikes crown attractive thick silvery foliage for a pleasing effect. Use this novelty plant as an accent plant in mixed containers, or massed in the garden. Either way, growers and gardeners alike love with this sun-loving variety.
