Megawatt begonias live up to their name, with a superior display of non-stop flowers above vibrant foliage. The bronze leaf variety is faster to flower than the green leaf varieties. This super-uniform begonia thrives in warm weather from spring through fall. Performs well in heat /drought, with no deadheading needed.

Q: I actually had 3 small bronze leaf megawatts plants that I planted in a large hanging basket. This grew into a spectacular basket and for 2 years it was constant blooming. Tried separating this big plant into 12 different containers and they seemed to be doing very well. Then transplant into 6 hanging containers that seemed ok for weed. Now the appear to be struggling, breaking off and almost rotting at ground level ? Have no idea why!!!
A: Hello Richard, thank you for contacting us. We're so glad that you have enjoyed the Bronze Leaf Megawatt Begonias. The are a great option for hanging baskets. It is difficult to say with certainty what is happening right now with your plants but you may be suffering from root rot. Try to keep the baskets out of direct light and allow the soil to dry out between watering. It may take your plants some time to adjust. Good luck! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
