Made of a durable food-grade plastic with mesh holes big enough to drain well, but small enough to hold in tiny seeds such as alfalfa. Order more than one sprout lid and rotate your crops every 3-4 days to make sure that you always have a steady supply of your favorite sprouts. BPA safe and machine washable.

"Love this! It fits wide mouth canning jars, which are pretty much the only ones I use. You just put in a bit of sprouting seeds with water (instructions are included with each packet of sprouting seeds, as they vary), rinse, drain, usually rinse and drain a second time, and then leave jar upside down, tilted to drain further. Repeat once or twice a day, and in 3 to 5 days, you will have tasty fresh sprouts."
