Virus tolerant yellow straightneck. 50 Days. Dr. Ted Superak of the Harris Moran Seed Co. developed this virus tolerant straightneck squash through conventional breeding efforts. Cougar offers the advantages of the precocious yellow gene along with added protection against ZYMV and papaya ringspot virus. The fruit is very similar to our very popular Multipik and is produced on large bush type plants.
