Are you thinking about growing tomatoes? Buying tomato plants is often easier than starting tomato seeds. Let Harris Seeds do the growing for you. Our selection of slicer, sauce, grape, cherry, and heirloom tomatoes have been picked for their flavor and performance. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!

Planting Tip: Our plants are hardened off in the greenhouse before we ship, but it is a good idea to harden them off again before transplanting into the garden. You can do this by putting them in a cold frame for a few days or set them directly outside in a protected area for a few days and bring them in at night.

Note: Tomato plants are available to order starting in November, for shipment in spring of 2015.

The Harris Seeds company began its catalog operation in 1879. It evolved from the efforts of Joseph Harris who became extremely successful in the selection of superior strains of vegetables and grains. The company became wildly popular because of his basic business philosophy - "Offer my customers a quality product at a fair price and they will return."
