Two blades in one. Use the shorter, front cutting edge for a quick cut through the lettuce plant, and the longer 7 1/8" edge for trimming and for other crops. The handle length is 5" Carbon steel blade with beech wood handle. Carbon steel sharpens easily, but does not hold an edge as long as stainless steel.
