A first-early bicolor supersweet variety with a main-season plant type, husk package, and ear appearance. The large 7½” ears have good tip fill, 16 rows, and good field holding ability, and are suited to both roadside and shipping markets. Awaken has shown excellent early season vigor and cold soil emergence, and the plants have high resistance to Common Rust (RpG).
