Goldfinger is an early Nantes type carrot that produces high quality roots that are uniform and attractive. It has strong, upright tops that have good bolting tolerance and its smooth roots have a dark orange exterior color. The roots have a small to medium core, good interior color and a sweet flavor. At high density planting the roots are 5 to 6" long and at normal planting density the roots are 7 to 8" in length. This is a beautiful carrot to use for baby carrot production or for bunched carrot sales.
