"I’ve never planted shallot sets before but ordered these when I didn’t plant seeds early enough. I planted in raised beds with fertilizer specific for onions. Wow! These tiny sets grew like crazy and produced delicious shallots bigger than my onions this year (I don’t know what was going on with the onions, raised under identical circumstances). They have stored very well. I’m very pleased with my purchase."
