Most plants did not survive

"Most plants did not survive"

germination

"I was not able to germinate any angelonia seeds the first year I tried. I had troubles with my cherry pepper seeds too. I suspected it might be how cool I keep my house in winter (60°F). So last year, I bought a small heat map and kept the pots in my kitchen under lights where I could keep vigilant watch. I was successful on this second attempt - almost 100% germination rate for both and within the timelines provided on the packets. I hope this might be helpful for others who had similar issues with germination."

Great Angelonia!

"I have never tried to start Angelonia from seed before. I got great germination and cannot wait to see them blooming in my yard."

Heidi C. (5/5)

Great Angelonia

"This Angelonia was a bit slow to germinate, but once it did, it took off and I had a very good germination rate. I had equal success in planting this in containers, as well as the landscape. I will plant this again next year. I am an inexperienced gardener in Michigan, zone 6b."
