Fruit Plants
To round out our seed line, we are pleased to offer top quality bare root USA field grown fruit plants. In this program you’ll find essentials such as blackberry, blueberry, grape, raspberry, and strawberry, and others like boysenberry, currant, gooseberry, kiwi, and loganberry to help increase your sales. The varieties are selected for their performance, vigor, and flavor. These bare roots are high quality, inexpensive, and easy to ship. Plants ship to you ready to be planted. You can be confident that the plants you receive will perform to your satisfaction. They can be grown and sold in gallon containers or larger, or field planted!
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BARE ROOT PLANTS
Whether you’re growing fruit to sell at market or raising potted fruit plants for resale, Harris Seeds’ line of bareroot fruit transplants offers excellent plant quality and professional-quality varieties. These transplants were selected for their performance, vigor and flavor, and they are shipped to you ready to be planted. Plant them in your fields to supplement your vegetable production, or pot them up to sell large, healthy fruit plants at market. As consumers learn more about the health benefits of fresh fruits, they’ll be eager to purchase fruit from you – or grow their own from the plants you sell them.
You may be a little startled when you first encounter a ‘bare root’ plant. This is simply a plant that has had the soil washed from its roots to facilitate shipping, and to help prevent the transfer of soil-borne pathogens and pests. Our bare root plants are shipped to you in a dormant state. Unpack your plants and submerge the roots into a bucket of water for 1 hour so the roots will begin to absorb moisture. Be sure to plant them within 48 hours, before the plants break their dormancy.
SHIPPING INFO: Live products have fixed ship dates based on your location. Garden Galleries products will ship to you directly from our supplier via UPS in early spring unless you specify a later ship week in the Order Notes field at checkout. Shipments continue through late spring until product is sold out. Please see individual product pages for more information and any state restrictions.
