PETER A. (4/5)

"Always quality seeds they do great given good conditions"

Ann P. (5/5)

Peas came up early and

"Peas came up early and were very sweet. Each pod was full and had 10 or 11 peas per pod. Have ordered them for next year already. John"

JOHN T. (5/5)

Great producing pea

"I love the growing habit and taste of this pea variety. I love it so much I am replacing the variety that I have grown for years with this one. The plants are stocky and produce very well. The tendrils are nice and curly and stay together much more than other pea varieties. I have found, in my growing conditions that each pod had an average of 9 well developed peas. Give it a try."

2023 Harris Seed Review

"This has become our 'go to' variety for garden peas after we started having mediocre results with Lincoln. Will grow 3-4 feet tall if given support (1" poultry netting) and kept well watered. Long, well filled pods with the only detraction being the thick/matted tendrils which can make some of the pods hard to see/reach."

Ron M. (5/5)

Love them all. Great selection

"Love them all. Great selection and great quality"

Ron M. (5/5)

Tremendous producer

"Heavy and sustained production. Low growing and no need to support. Superior taste. Our "go-to" seed was Burpee's Easy Peasy, but this is just as good if not better."

Jon L. (5/5)

Beans were great . Radishes

"Beans were great . Radishes and red beets never came up"

Margaret K. (3/5)

Good Pea

"The peas are sweet and tasty. This pea germinated better than 95% for me. The plant grew about 2 1/2 feet high which was perfect for me. I plant in 3 foot high raised beds do to back issues. This put these peas at the perfect height for harvest. The yeild was decent for small plants. I will plant these every year."

Q&A

pea pls 595 , your number 12728 i ordered five lb s yesterday the catalogue says hi setting peas.. I want high CLIMBING peas since I have a 6' high 6x6" trellis . are these high climbing ? if not , do you have a high climbing pea? I don't waant 3' vines on my very expensive high trellis rows ( 3 @ 225' long ) for pick your own.
Thank you for your question. Pea PLS 595 will perform well on a trellis, though it will only reach 3-4 feet in height. The peas set high in the plant so they are easy to pick, but the plants are not considered to be a climbing type. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a pea that exceeds 3-4 feet in height.
