Great disease tolerance!
Early variety (70 days) with high yields of medium sized 2 to 3" round tubers. Red Gold has light red skin wrapped around a delicate yellow flesh. Excellent steamed, boiled, baked, fried, mashed, roasted or scalloped. Red Gold is resistant to leaf roll and PVY; moderate resistance to common scab. 3 lb bags contain approximately 15- 20 seed potatoes.
3 pound sizes ship early April to mid-May from the Harris Seeds warehouse. 40 pound sizes drop-ship from our supplier, Dutch Valley Growers, early March to mid-May, based on the optimal planting time for your region. An Early Ship Waiver must be signed if you request an earlier ship date (available on drop-ship items only). Please contact us to inquire.
