This select strain of Blue Hubbard is the largest of the Hubbard type squash. Full vines yield blue-gray fruit that weigh 30-45 lbs. and have a classic Hubbard shape. The fruit can get up to 20-30" long and its flesh is of the highest quality, with a sweet, fine grained texture and an orange color.

The Blue Hubbard squash's rind is bumpy and blue-green, while the flesh is deep orange with a sweet nutty taste. You can store the squash in your pantry for up to six months post-harvest — our Squash Blue Hubbard will remain fresh and rich with flavor.

Blue Hubbard is known for its nutritional benefits, including excellent anti-inflammatory properties. It's also rich in Vitamins A and C, helping support a healthy immune system. This variety matures in around 100 days and offers the convenience of direct sowing after any danger of frost. Plant in full sun and moist soil in a spacious plot or along a fence line, where it has plenty of room for its vining growth habit.
