I have grown this variety

"I have grown this variety easily years ago and decided to try it again. The vigorous seeds sprouted and the leaf development was very good. Although it has flowered profusely, I have not had any set fruit. This year we have had a tremendous amount of rain and I see the effects on some of my other plants. There are bees flying about but perhaps the rain has effected their efficiency. I do not eat the flowers as I know some folks do but I will wait to see if I can get some of these tasty squash. They make the perfect container for stuffing and baking. As most gardeners think optimistically; there's always next season."
