Moreton, a Great Old Time Tomato

"Love the Moreton Tomato seeds. Raised thousands of these in Washington Boro, Pa. when I was a teenager. My crop this year was great and the tomatoes had great flavor just like way back then. I hope to order more again next year. We also used to raise tomatoes called Cardinals, hope to find these seeds and raise them too."

"rating had nothing to do with the finished product . The Squirrels here REALLY loved the blossoms . The couple T's that survived , were susceptible to water cracking at the end , so won't have a result till next yr . Plants grew fine ."

I have been growing NJ

"I have been growing NJ tomato’s Since Rutgers College brought the seeds back. And the seeds from Harris are doing fine so far. They are THE Best Tomatos"

It's a great tomato

"The Moreton tomato is the main one I grow every year. There are a couple of other varieties but the Moreton is the one my family eats from July through October. The germination rate is close to 100% and it produces delicious fruit, in large quantity all summer. I grow six plants for myself and 15 to 20 plants for neighbors and friends. What we don't consume ourselves, goes to the local food bank. The Moreton is a staple, an outstanding tomato."
