A widely adaptable variety, Aristotle has impressed growers across the country with its extra-large fruit and tremendous yield potential. This widely used green to red bell offers thick walls and a blocky shape. Aristotle’s vigorous 20 to 24" plants offer good protection to the fruit and have intermediate resistance to BLS (races 1,2,3), PVY and TMV. The plants are also free of anthocyanins, which helps prevent purpling on the fruit during periods of stress.

The best bell variety!

"We switched to the Aristotle variety from the Currier variety on our small family farm and have been consistently overwhelmed for the past two years with the production, size and hardiness of this variety. It out beats everything else that we have ever planted for a bell pepper over the last 10 years. It is extremely disease resistant And produces huge peppers throughout the entire season with no gaps. Plus, the taste is great, customers love it! This is a winner won’t be disappointed."

Worth the price!

"You can find all kinds of pepper varieties for WAY less than $0.20/seed, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one that will beat the yield, disease resistance, and flavor of Aristotle! Right now, each pepper plant of mine has no fewer than 20 flowers! The fruits are very tasty and large. They are also incredibly thick, heavy, and meaty. Because of this, a single pepper will go a long ways in the kitchen. I usually have to chop mine up and freeze them for later use. I store my unused seeds in the fridge in an airtight container (where they last for years) so I can grow them for multiple years."
