2.8 cubic ft. bag. These Jiffy Mixes are both an optimum blend of Canadian sphagnum peat and vermiculite, for seed starting, cutting propagation and transplanting.
pH: 5-1/2 to 6.2
Dry bulk density: 8 to 10 lbs./ cu.'
Each 2.8 cu. Ft bag fills approximately: (15)- 1020 flats, or (130) std. 4" pots, or (44) std. 6" pots, or (12)- 10" hanging baskets (subject to variation by brand.)

My only complaint is that, while there are many formulations listed on the bag, there was no marking to indicate which formula this bag contained. In the past, I purchased this for other vendors and it was described as organic certified, and that version was marked on the bag. The bag I bought from Harris is a mystery."

"Great product, lousy boxing. Always arrives in broken, torn, smashed cardboard boxes. Difficult to handle at that point. I understand it's not your fault they get smashed during shipping but a better-fitting box or more substantial box would help."

- Which Jiffy Mix formulation do you sell? (If you look at the back of the bag there are 20+ formulas that all come in the same bag, for example: Mix #1, #2, #3 and so on.) This is extremely important to me because only Jiffy Mix #13 is OMRI listed for organic growing.
