Aphrodite produces large melons weighing 6 to 8 lbs. and matures 2-3 days earlier than Athena. It has shown improved netting, which is an important advantage for fall plantings or under stressful conditions where the netting can be weak. Aphrodite muskmelon stores and ships well after harvest and its salmon colored flesh is firm and sweet. Resistant to FW (0,1,2) and PM (1,2).

Amazing germination!

"I put 2 seeds in each of 12 pots and every single seed germinated! These are amazing!"

Small gardener

"2018 was the first year I have grown this variety. I planted three varieties to see how they produced in my area. They were excellent. This variety was the second plant to produce a ripe melon and it came in at 11 pounds 3 oz. I've never seen such a large one. The rest of the melons were in the 8 pound area and the plant produced well for Utah. I will definitely plant this one again."
